A Few Things You Should Know About Me
Hi, I’m Remco Livain — a fractional executive, entrepreneur, and growth strategist with a deep love for well-built systems, meaningful conversations, and occasionally, a brutal mountain climb (I love to go "rucking").
Over the past 20 years, I’ve helped build, scale, and restructure marketing and sales teams across industries — from early-stage startups to established brands. My roots are in performance marketing and digital innovation, but over time, my focus has shifted toward operational clarity, team design, and long-term business building. I don’t just advise — I roll up my sleeves and work alongside leadership teams to fix what’s broken and accelerate what works.
Right now, I lead the team at GANDT Ventures in Zürich, where we work with consumer brands, scale-ups, and investors to untangle go-to-market challenges and set up lean, resilient organizations. We operate at the edge of strategy and execution — not just making decks, but building what we recommend.
Outside of client work, I’m building a growing body of writing, tools, and content aimed at helping operators, founders, and fractional leaders navigate the complexity of modern business. You’ll find a mix of personal reflections, thoughts on leadership, essays on the future of work, and the occasional rant about tech (especially when Apple frustrates me).
This is a place where I try to write like I speak — honestly, with curiosity, and in full sentences. I don’t chase trends, I document what I’m learning. If you’re someone who’s building something — or trying to lead better — I hope you find something here that sticks with you.

Thanks for reading.
